ABOUT MoPA's VINTAGE 2010
Now in its 12th year, Vintage is the signature annual fundraiser for the Museum of Photographic Arts (MoPA), one of the nation's premier institutions dedicated solely to photography and film.
The 2010 Vintage event series draws inspiration from the 1960's California, an era that spawned the cool and ethereal design aesthetic of Los Angeles, the birth of California's driving culture, and the emergence of California wines onto the world stage. This captivating era of the cultural renaissance in California blends perfectly with the exhibition that will be on view, entitled State of Mind: A California Invitational, which celebrates the best contemporary California photographers working today.
Proceeds from Vintage benefit the Museum's world class exhibitions, collections, adult programs, and youth outreach.
